Drake Bell

Born in Newport Beach, California, in June 1986, Bell rose to prominence for his starring roles in Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh. In addition to acting, the former child star began pursuing a music career starting in the early 2000s, releasing five studio albums between 2005 and 2020. He also cowrote and performed the Drake & Josh theme song, “Found a Way.”

Bell has sparked controversies over the years, making headlines for his feud with former costar Josh Peck and run-ins with the law. The “Makes Me Happy” musician was convicted of child endangerment in 2021 after he was accused of sending a then-15-year-old girl inappropriate messages in 2017. He was sentenced to two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.

The Yours, Mine & Ours actor revealed in July 2021 that he had married Janet Von Schmeling in 2018 after five years of dating. The duo — who separated in late 2022 — share son Wyatt, whom they quietly welcomed in 2021.

In April 2023, the Daytona Police Department issued a statement via Facebook notifying the public that Bell was considered “missing and endangered.” Later that day, the law enforcement agency updated the post, noting that Bell had been found and was safe.
