About
Eva Mendes scored her big break in 2001 playing Denzel Washington’s girlfriend in Training Day. Mendes went on to star in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Hitch (2005), Ghost Rider (2007) and Girl in Progress (2012).
Mendes also starred in 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines, which sparked her real-life romance with costar Ryan Gosling. The couple welcomed daughters Esmeralda and Amada in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Mendes starred in Gosling’s directorial debut, 2014’s Lost River.
