Fred Durst
Born in 1970 William Frederick Durst in Jacksonville, Fla., Fred Durst is best known for his work in nu metal band, Limp Bizkit.
Durst formed Limp Bizkit in 1994 with members Sam Rivers and Joe Otto. The band’s first hit, a cover of George Michael’s “Faith” garnered much attention on MTV.
Rumors that Durst and Britney Spears were dating circulated in 2003 after photos of the two together were released in the press. In February 2005, a sex tape featuring Durst and an unidentified woman began circulating online.
Durst took a break from music when he made his feature film directorial debut in 2008’s The Longshots.
In April 2009, the rocker announced his engagement to Esther Nazarov via his Twitter page and married her in July of the same year. He has two children: a teen girl, Adriana, from his first marriage, and a 7-year-old boy, Dallas, from a previous relationship.
