Heidi Montag
Best known for her role on The Hills, Heidi Montag has quickly become a key player on the Hollywood gossip circuit.
After a brief appearance on MTV’s Laguna Beach, Montag was cast in a starring role on MTV’s powerhouse Laguna spinoff. Defined by her falling out with former best friend and Hills costar Lauren Conrad, her erratic romance with costar Spencer Pratt and her controversial plastic surgery, this buxom blonde has enjoyed both the highs and the lows of celebrity life.
Hailed as a “feminist hero” by the New York Times, Montag has released three singles – “Higher,” “No More” and “Fashion” – in an effort to make a name for herself on the music charts.
In November 2008, she surprised the public and Hills fans alike when she and Pratt eloped in Mexico — without telling her family! To make their union legal, the pair held a traditional church ceremony in April 2009 that was attended by their Hills costars Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner and Lauren Conrad.
In summer 2009, Heidi and Spencer signed on to compete in the NBC reality series, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! After several attempts to quit the show, Heidi was hospitalized for a gastric ulcer, prompting the newlyweds to quit the show for good and return home.
At the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, MTV announced a reboot of The Hills entitled The Hills: New Beginnings, slated to premiere in 2019. Montag was announced as part of the cast of the new series.
On 12 May, 2023, Montag released “I’ll Do It” , originally released on her debut album. The single included “I’ll Do It” along with a sped-up and slowed-down version.
