Jesse McCartney
Jesse McCartney is a pop singer-songwriter best known for hits “Beautiful Soul,” “She’s No’ You” and “Leavin.’”
McCartney kicked off his musical career in 1999 as a member of the boy band Dream Street, singing alongside Chris Trousdale, Greg Raposo, Frankie Galasso and Matt Ballinger.
The band broke up in 2002, two years before McCartney released debut solo album Beautiful Soul. He has since dropped five more albums and four EPs, including 2024’s All’s Well. McCartney has also written songs for other artists, including Leona Lewis’ breakthrough hit “Bleeding Love.”
McCartney is also an actor, who has appeared in episodes of All My Children, Greek, Army Wives and Young & Hungry. He had a starring role on the WB’s Summerland between 2004 and 2005, appearing opposite Zac Efron and Lori Loughlin.
In his personal life, McCartney started dating Katie Peterson in 2012 and proposed seven years later. The pair tied the knot in October 2021.
