Lance Bass
Best known as one-fifth of the ‘90s boy band ‘NSync, Lance Bass was born in Mississippi in 1979. In addition to his remarkable success in the music industry, Bass is an accomplished stage and screen actor, producer, author and philanthropist.
He has appeared in several films, including On The Line and Zoolander, and starred on Broadway as Corny Collins in Hairspray. The star has a long resume of TV appearances, including guest spots on Single Parents, BoJack Horseman and Hollywood Darlings. Bass has also explored reality television, hosting Finding Prince Charming and ‘90s House as well as an episode of Bachelor in Paradise.
The boy-bander also competed on the seventh season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, taking third place behind Warren Sapp and Brooke Burke.
Bass added author to his resumé in 2007 when he released his autobiography Out of Sync, which debuted at No. 22 on the New York Times Bestseller List. In July 2006, Bass came out as gay and was awarded the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award in October 2006.
Bass dated Reichen Lehmkuhl and Danielle Fishel prior to coming out. He married artist Michael Turchin in 2014. In June 2021, Turchin and Bass revealed that they were expecting twins via surrogate.
