Cementing her status as a national treasure to the United Kingdom and its 14 territories, Olivia Colman was named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a.k.a. CBE (not the oil) by Queen Elizabeth II this weekend. Per the Washington Post, Colman was chosen for her extensive contributions to drama, and definitely not because she’s playing Queen Elizabeth II in the upcoming two seasons of Netflix’s The Crown. Nope. Impossible. Don’t even think about it. “I’m totally thrilled, delighted and humbled to be in the company of these incredible people, most of whom have been nowhere near as visible as I have, but should be — and hopefully now will be,” Colman said in a statement. “It’s such an honor.” You just know that the Queen, noted Crown fangirl, gets those screeners.
