From Adele clapping back at a homophobic audience member to Kehlani turning Weho Pride into a pro-Palestine march, celebs around the world are out here making pride political. And some of the other ones are just happy to be there. Here’s how this year’s celebs are making Pride femininomenal (or mascuninomenal, or theminominal), including a “Nonsense” outro and one half of everyone’s favorite queerbaity Bridgerton ship.

Lady Whistledown Does Gay Pop
Nicola Coughlan turned a viral interview clip into a song benefiting LGBTQ+ charities. In “Shoes… More Shoes,” she shouts out “all the wee lesbians” and “girly pops.” Near the end of the track, she muses, “Have you ever noticed that transphobes have really shitty hair? That’s karma, bitch.” We’re sure self-appointed gay pop CEO JoJo Siwa would be proud.
We’ve got a Gay Gummer
Meryl Streep’s daughter, Louisa Jacobson Gummer, came out on Instagram. “blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb ❤️🔥🏳️🌈” she wrote. Whether it’s Louisa and her partner, or Meryl and Marty Short, love is love!

Once again Disneyland Pride Night comes through with the cuntiest fur characters this side of Anthrocon. Last year it was Clarabelle Cow sissying that walk. This year it’s Stitch all leather’d out.

Murray Hill is working through Pride. Showbiz!
Somebody Somewhere’s Murray Hill was profiled in the New York Times this Pride, showing off some of his latest projects. Hill is spending some of Pride Month location scouting for a show he’s developing called Shorty Big Time, a lower stakes mystery procedural. “Someone took somebody’s teeth at the nursing home, and they call me in,” he said of a potential plotline. “Or the gay rodeo’s in town, and the chaps are missing. Just fun and campy. We need it. Things are rough out there.”
Chappell Roan nixes White House Pride event
At the Governor’s Ball June 9, Chappell Roan dedicated “My Kink is Karma” to the White House, “who asked me to perform at Pride. We want liberty, justice, and freedom for all,” she said. “When you do that, that’s when I’ll come.” Roan appeared to be alluding to Gaza, as she also said freedom for all especially means “freedom for all oppressed in occupied territories.”
The Doctor is OUT
Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor did a little kissin’ on a man — and during Pride Month, no less! Jonathan Groff guest starred as Rogue (not that one), and flirted/smooched the Doctor in a Bridgerton-esque episode. In the words of the Ninth Doctor, “Fantastic!”

Troye Sivan released a fun gay album last year, called Something to Give Each Other, now, throughout Pride, Troye Sivan is running a fun, gay tour, that includes him singing on his knees into a microphone and dressing in drag. Fun! Hot! Gay!

Adele tells homophobia to shut up
At her Las Vegas residency, Adele shouted down a concertgoer who hollered “Pride sucks!” during her set. “Did you come to my fucking show and just say that Pride sucks?” she said. “Are you fucking stupid?”
Kehlani says Pride has always been political
Kehlani invited pro-Palestine demonstrators to march with them at West Hollywood Pride June 1. It’s a continuation of the messaging of their latest single, “Next 2 U,” which also expressed strong solidarity with Palestine.
