High Winds Lead to Power Outages

Ohio- High winds across the area are causing some problems for electric customers. American Electric Power Ohio said there are 4,808 outages across the state, most in southeast and southern Ohio. At one time that number reached nearly 23,000.

AEP said if you’re cleaning up storm debris, remember that downed lines could be concealed under limbs, leaves and other object. They say to never touch a downed line or anything it may be touching, stay as far away as possible and call 911 to report potential hazards.
