PSA: this is your last chance to get in on the official Xbox One price drop

Many believed the pre-holiday price drop on Xbox One was here to stay, but that will not be the case. Despite a healthy spike in Xbox One sales numbers over the holidays, Microsoft has announced that it will revert all Xbox One consoles (and bundles) back to their regular prices as of January 3rd, 2015.

While we can’t say for sure whether or not better Xbox One deals will come available in the future (even with the price hike), it may be smart to lock in discounted pricing now. Many of the biggest retailers are still currently offering holiday worthy pricing that will likely be gone come this weekend.

Amazon, Best Buy, Target and GameStop are all offering the Xbox One Assassin’s Creed: Unity bundle with a $50 gift card for $349 shipped right now ($449 w/ Kinect). Newegg is also offering the same bundle for $350 with a $40 gift card and a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership.
