AE7 is seeking an experienced Senior Site Structural Engineer with 20+ years of experience in high-rise projects (G+60 minimum). Work Location: Dubai Key Responsibilities: · Maintain strong communication and coordination across all project disciplines. · Identify and manage project risks effectively. · Attend and contribute to key project meetings, including pre-construction, pre-fabrication, and construction discussions. · Review and approve contractor submittals. (i.e. Shop drawings, Material submittals, Method of Statements, Prequalification, etc.) · Supervise and guide the inspection team. · Conduct audits, to ensure compliance with quality standards. · Implement and enforce building codes, construction specifications, and drawings. · Propose and approve necessary modifications to align with relevant codes and standards. · Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures working closely with the Resident Engineer and project team.   Qualifications & Requirements: · Minimum 20+ years of experience in Dubai with expertise in high-rise projects (G+60 minimum), preferably with consultancy firms · Dubai Municipality Unlimited License (Mandatory). · Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. · Ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Design Background is added value. · Experience with internationally recognized QA/QC standards such as ISO 9001, ACI, BS EN, and ASTM, ensuring compliance in high-rise construction projects. Familiarity with some or all of the following is preferred: · Structural Analysis & Design Software: ETABS (ver. 15.2 & ver. 9.7.4), SAFE (ver. 14 & ver. 12), PROKON, RCM, STAAD PRO, RAM CONCEPT, SAP 2000, PCA, ROBOT. The ideal candidate will ensure the consistent quality of architectural designs, documents, and constructions details through systematic reviews and improvements. The QA/QC Engineer will work closely with the designers and project managers to verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-rise buildings and complex façade systems, gained through experience in either façade contracting or consulting. This role requires proficiency in façade inspection, quality assurance, and report preparation for multidisciplinary projects of varying scales.   Work Location: Dubai Key Responsibilities: · Façade Inspection & Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of façade installations to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and industry standards. · Technical Review: Analyze and interpret façade contractor shop drawings, specifications, and construction details to accurately assess the built condition. · Quality Assurance & Control: Identify and document any discrepancies, deficiencies, or deviations between installed façade elements and approved designs, evaluating their implications on performance and durability. · Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, incorporating photographic evidence, descriptive analysis of non-compliant conditions, and recommendations for corrective actions. · Material & System Verification: Assess various façade systems and materials—including glass and aluminum facades, glass-steel structures, windows and doors, precast concrete facades, rainscreen systems, GFRC cladding, stone cladding, and curtain wall systems—to verify adherence to project requirements. · Coordination & Communication: Work closely with contractors, sub-consultants, and project stakeholders to address identified issues and ensure that corrective measures align with project timelines and quality expectations. · Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all façade works adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process.
