These large-capacity ferries carry hundreds of passengers on multi-hour journeys. 🎉 Today marks a significant milestone for Belimo! We officially celebrated the groundbreaking of our new logistics and production building at our headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland. At the ceremony, our CEO Lars van der Haegen reflected on Belimo's past, present, and future, highlighting Belimo's deep connection to the region: “We come from the region and are at home here”. He also extended special thanks to our project partners, the municipality of Hinwil, and the local neighborhood for their invaluable support, without which this project wouldn’t have been possible. This project is a significant step forward in our growth journey, driven by increasing demand for energy-efficient building solutions and healthy indoor air. The new facility will help us ensure maximum product availability and shorter lead times, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on sustainability, the building will feature: 🏢 6,200 square meters of new production area ⚙ A fully automated storage system for efficient material flow 🔋 Photovoltaic modules boosting solar energy capacity from 200 kWp to 700 kWp 🌱 Connection to the district heating system powered by the KEZO waste incineration plant This expansion reflects our dedication to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
