🇬🇧 UK Infrastructure Trade Mission to the UAE 🇦🇪 This week the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is leading a delegation of 50 innovative, sustainable infrastructure and energy companies on a visit to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. The trade mission kicked off this morning at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus with a panel discussion titled ‘Doing Business in the UAE’. Moderated by BCCD CEO Katy Holmes, the panel featured: 🎤 Professor Tadhg O'Donovan, Chief Scientist of Heriot-Watt University, Deputy Vice Principal of Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus 🎤 Lindsey Malcolm, Sustainability Lead, Middle East, Turner & Townsend 🎤 Robbie Dyet, Infrastructure Lead, British Embassy UAE   🎤 Bradley Jones, Executive Director, UAE-UK Business Council 🎤 Steve Dering, Strategic Partnerships Director, Direct Access Group and DBT Export Champion The discussion highlighted opportunities for UK companies in the UAE construction sector and key infrastructure projects, including Al Maktoum International Airport, the UAE High-Speed Rail Line, and Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
