Why should you use a floor spring? Floor springs provide an effective solution for heavy-duty applications where reliability, functionality and long-term performance are priorities. Our range offers options capable of handling doors up to 300kg in weight and accommodating opening angles up to 160degrees. These features make them a preferred choice for external doors and areas with high traffic demands. Compared to conventional overhead closers, floor springs can handle much heavier doors. Due to being set into the floor, they provide a cleaner, more understated look while allowing for a high-end architectural finish. Our range includes adjustable closing and latching speeds, ensuring precise control to the specific door’s requirements. Our CFS543 and CFS544 models are independently tested to BS EN 1154 performance standards and several models in our range are fire tested to EN 1634-1 standards and Certifire approved, fulfilling safety requirements without sacrificing functionality. Hold-open options are available across various models, providing added flexibility for spaces where doors need to remain open at specific angles. Whether the requirement is for a heavy external door or a closer designed for aesthetic and functional compatibility, floor springs offer a versatile and robust solution.
