Earlier this week, Covenant and du jointly organized a Rewards and Recognition Meet for our Network Planning project team. The meeting was presided over by Ahmed AlShal Director of Access Network Development & Solutions Design at du, who acknowledged the contributions of various team members who exceeded their usual responsibilities and added significant value for the customer. Covenant CEO Rahul Tulpule also spoke on the occasion. He congratulated the team & reiterated our OneTeam approach which fully alligns the interests of all delivery stakeholders in a completely transparent manner. It was truly uplifting to learn that the team's delivery has resulted in numerous efficiencies and value creations across all planning functions. Team Lead - Ericsson System Expert (Arabic Speaking) Covenant Tel LLC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead (Arabic Speaking Ericsson System Expert) to join our team in UAE! In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of end-to-end RF planning projects for a major national operator. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic vision and technical leadership to a team of RF planning engineers. - Define project goals, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations, ensuring project deliverables are met with excellence. - Lead the team in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting RF networks across various technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G). - Foster strong client relationships by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and resolving any challenges effectively. - Establish and implement best practices for RF planning, network optimization, and performance management. - Oversee, guide, and approve vendor plans for BSS network system expansion, ensuring optimal capacity and coverage. - Manage all aspects of radio network planning, from initial strategy to final execution. - Develop and implement the network mobility strategy, encompassing load management and multi-band mobility parameter tuning. - Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members, promoting their professional growth and development. Requirements: - Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or a closely related field (mandatory). - Fluency in English and Arabic (essential). - 10-15 years of demonstrated experience in RF planning, project management, team leadership, and customer engagement. - Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience working with Ericsson systems (critical). - In-depth technical expertise in RF planning, network optimization, and performance management. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments. - Proficiency in industry-standard RF planning tools and software. - Solid understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies (essential). OSS/NMS Capacity Planning Engineer Covenant Tel LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced OSS/NMS Capacity Planning Engineer to join our team for our projects with a leading UAE National Operator. Responsibilities: ·      Manage multi-vendor Network Management Systems (NMS) platforms from integration and deployment through ongoing maintenance. ·      Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for end-to-end project delivery. ·      Perform hands-on hardware and software lifecycle management, including capacity analysis, to plan upgrade and expansion activities for multi-vendor environments (bare metal, virtualized, and containerized). ·      Possess an in-depth understanding of integration protocols like REST APIs, CORBA, SNMP, RACCLI, and other methods. ·      Leverage familiarity with eTOM/ITIL frameworks and the FCAPS model to navigate existing network management environments. ·      Work with specific vendor NMS applications, such as Huawei MAE (Access/KPI/OPT), Nokia NetActs/NPM, and Ericsson ENM/ENIQ, to ensure smooth operation. ·      Oversee timely updates to NMS systems with comprehensive impact analysis to avoid conflicts with domain changes. ·      Troubleshoot network connectivity issues by collaborating with Network Planning and Operations teams. ·      Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols to facilitate effective communication and troubleshooting. ·      Manage user accounts, integrate with LDAP services, and ensure compliance with data and application security requirements. ·      Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. ·      Exhibit a positive work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility. ·      Thrive in a team environment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity. Qualifications: ·      Minimum 5+ years of experience in OSS/NMS engineering or a related field. ·      Proven experience with multi-vendor NMS platforms. ·      Strong understanding of network infrastructure lifecycle management and capacity planning principles. ·      Proficiency with integration protocols and network security concepts. ·      Familiarity with industry standards like eTOM/ITIL and FCAPS model (a plus). ·      Experience with specific vendor NMS applications (e.g., Huawei MAE, Nokia NetActs, Ericsson ENM) (highly preferred). ·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ·      Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
