Rewinding to summer of 2020 when we were still in the early stages of launching our first 2 products, entering the Spinneys Dubai LLC Incubator programme was something that we had pondered and had been suggested by a number of our early customers, but we felt that we were not quite ready as we were still trunk-deep in the product development process and therefore decided to hold out in the hopes that the programme would be run again in the future. One year on in August 2021, we decided we were ready, and from almost 100 entries in total, we were shortlisted as one of 15 local companies invited to pitch our range of now 5 products to the Spinneys panel. On 3rd October 2021, while waiting at the departure gate in Rome Fiumicino airport about to board a flight back to Dubai, we received the call from Tom Harvey to say that we had been selected as one of the 5 winners of the Spinneys Local Business Incubator 2021! To say we were both ecstatic and emotional during the entire flight back would be an understatement! You can find a snippet of our journey so far in the November/December issue of the Spinneys magazine out now, and we are excited to see our products in Spinneys and Waitrose stores across the UAE very soon!
