نبذة عنا
Dubai International Arbitration Centre has over three decades of experience of providing dispute resolution services to parties doing business in, or through, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region. The Centre is the region’s largest arbitral institution, independent, and committed to excellence, efficiency, and diversity. The Centre administers arbitrations pursuant to the DIAC Arbitration Rules, which are flexible and suitable for all types of arbitrable disputes. In addition, the Centre regularly acts as an appointing authority and administers arbitrations conducted pursuant to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Arbitration Rules (UNCITRAL Rules). The Centre also provides other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, including mediation and conciliation services. As a trusted arbitral institution, the Centre is committed to creating a culture where its people feel respected, valued, and that they belong; supporting the communities in which its people live and work; and protecting the environment and tackling climate change. The Centre only works with suppliers who share these values and goals and has policies in place to ensure that its officers, people, and suppliers operate in compliance with applicable anti-bribery and corruption legislation and to the highest ethical standards. The Centre is a signatory and active supporter of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge and the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations. The Centre is an independent, impartial, non-governmental, not for profit organisation with a proven track record of reliably administering thousands of disputes. It has a three-tier structure, comprising a Board of Directors, Arbitration Court, and administrative body.

We are delighted to announce that Dubai International Arbitration Centre has regained Whitelist status in the latest Global Arbitration Review Guide to Regional Arbitration—one of just three arbitral institutions in the Middle East and Africa and the only institution in the United Arab Emirates. The GAR Whitelisting is the result of improvements made to the Centre’s governance structure, the launch of the 2022 DIAC Arbitration Rules, and a period of significant investment in the Centre’s administrative body, operations and systems to set a foundation for the Centre to be one of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. #ADR #DIAC #Dubai #DisputeResolution #Arbitration

What a fantastic way to celebrate our achievements as a team! We recently gathered to reflect on and celebrate another incredible year for DIAC. In the words of Jehad Abdulrazzaq Kazim, “Teamwork is the heart of DIAC and everyone’s contribution has led to our collective success. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful for the bright and creative minds that make up this remarkable team.” Milestones and recognition made this year unforgettable. A standout moment was Dubai Arbitration Week, a world-class event that brought together the global arbitration community and reaffirmed DIAC’s commitment to excellence in the field. We look forward to the journey ahead as we continue strengthening Dubai’s role on the global stage. #DIAC #2024 #ADR #Arbitration

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Hussam Al Talhuni, who served as DIAC's Director from 2003 to 2010. Dr. Al Talhuni laid the groundwork for DIAC to become a prominent arbitral institution, contributing to its growth and development. We deeply appreciate his efforts and wish him continued success in all his endeavors. #DIAC #ADR #Arbitration #Dubai #DisputeResolution

We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Dubai SME for an engaging virtual session on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), attended by 80 participants. Led by our Executive Director, Jehad Abdulrazzaq Kazim, and Registrar, Robert Stephen, the session explored how ADR methods like arbitration and mediation offer businesses efficient and practical ways to resolve disputes. Participants also gained insights into the role of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre in supporting businesses locally and globally through robust dispute resolution frameworks. Thank you, Dubai SME, for the partnership and to everyone who joined us—it’s these shared conversations that help drive understanding of ADR. #DIAC #ADR #DubaiSME #Collaboration #Arbitration #Mediation #Dubai
