We are delighted to announce that Dubai International Arbitration Centre has regained Whitelist status in the latest Global Arbitration Review Guide to Regional Arbitration—one of just three arbitral institutions in the Middle East and Africa and the only institution in the United Arab Emirates. The GAR Whitelisting is the result of improvements made to the Centre’s governance structure, the launch of the 2022 DIAC Arbitration Rules, and a period of significant investment in the Centre’s administrative body, operations and systems to set a foundation for the Centre to be one of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. #ADR #DIAC #Dubai #DisputeResolution #Arbitration

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Hussam Al Talhuni, who served as DIAC's Director from 2003 to 2010. We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Dubai SME for an engaging virtual session on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), attended by 80 participants. Led by our Executive Director, Jehad Abdulrazzaq Kazim, and Registrar, Robert Stephen, the session explored how ADR methods like arbitration and mediation offer businesses efficient and practical ways to resolve disputes. Participants also gained insights into the role of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre in supporting businesses locally and globally through robust dispute resolution frameworks.
