Today the world celebrates, ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science.’ 🔭 Steered by social changes and proactive initiatives by governments to foster inclusivity and gender representation, there has been notable shifts in women and girls within STEM fields, leading to achieving full human potential and sustainable development. According to UNESCO, 57% of STEM graduates in the MENA region are women, in the UAE, it rises to 61% and Oman having 50% of their total engineering workforce are women. While we highlight some of them here today, there are many more that inspires and paves the way for future generations of Arab women.
