#MeetTheTeam Series, Episode 9: Meet Dipti Saigal 💡 PROFESSIONAL LEGACY Dipti Saigal, a Principal Lighting Designer at Light Touch, is a creative force with an impressive track record spanning over a decade. Her journey began with a with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai in 2004, followed by a diploma in Interior Design from L.S. Raheja Institute of Architecture in 2008. Both backgrounds laid the foundation for her multifaceted career. Dipti's professional story is a tapestry woven with diverse projects that have demanded her specific design and management expertise. Her portfolio boasts an array of accomplishments, including lighting design, project and tender management. Her approach to each project involves meticulous research, conceptual design, development, and the creation of detailed working and presentation drawings. 💡 BEYOND THE DESK Beyond her professional life, Dipti enjoys cooking and reading. She is also a motor racing enthusiast, reflecting her passion for speed and precision, and she harbors a dream of joining a racing club someday, embracing the thrill of the racetrack. Her favorite film, The Godfather, reflects her appreciation for storytelling and the complexities of human nature. Dipti also draws inspiration from Karolina Halatek’s art installation The Beacon, which reflects her appreciation for designs that illuminate spaces creatively, mirroring her work in lighting 💡 WE THANK YOU! Since joining our team in 2021, Dipti has enriched Light Touch with her expertise. She leads commercial and retail projects, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to IFC, while managing client presentations, resource teams, and quality assurance. Dipti's creative skills are evident in her ability to drive innovation and push design boundaries. She is not just a lighting designer; she is a visionary who can offer creative direction to subsequent design teams, guiding them toward excellence. With a minimum of five years of experience and two years in design management, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at Light Touch.
