Hiring Onshore - Lead Drops Inspectors

The Company OES is a leading international specialist of third-party inspection, audit, appraisal, certification and project services to the oil and gas industry who are currently experiencing rapid growth.   The Opportunity Want to work rotation work in Norway ? We are seeking :   Highly skilled PCN or ISO9712 UT level II Operators Ultrasonic Phased Array Inspectors   Project Location: Norway, onshore project Duration: 6 Months Vacancies: 32 Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off Flights, accommodation, and meals at site: Covered by OES Key Responsibilities: • Follow all office related procedures and relevance • Inspection of prefabrication structural steel welds consisting of Butt, T , Y and cruciform joints • Assist / lead in writing reports • Support Inspectors and OES Management • Maintain all relevant qualifications by ensuring re-certification as appropriate • Ensure that daily meetings are taking place on the rig with rig personnel • Ensure daily reports are accurate and detailed • Work as a team member supporting all OES staff and maintaining OES HSE and QA Management Systems • Promote and represent OES professionally and competently • Comply with the steps of the service within the quality plan for the service to be provided • Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors / management   Requirement 1:   Highly skilled PCN or ISO9712 UT level II Operators   2-3 years of experience conducting ultrasonic inspections on newly constructed prefabricated structural steel welds (Butt, T, Y, and cruciform joints). PCN or ISO 9712 equivalent UT Level 2 certification (welds 3.1, 3.2, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, or 3.6). ASNT is not accepted. MPI certification is advantageous. Start Date : December Site test at arrival so correct experience is needed   Requirement 2:   Ultrasonic Phased Array Inspectors   2-3 years of experience conducting ultrasonic inspections on newly constructed prefabricated structural steel welds (Butt, T, Y, and cruciform joints). MPI certification is advantageous. Start Date : February 2025 Site test at arrival so correct experience is needed     Ideal Candidates Will Have:   Experience in Oil and Gas – upstream inspection company An excellent command of verbal and written English skills Multi-tasker and also be a team player Ready to work at HEIGHTs A confident and resilient personality.
