RENCA develops new high-tech, eco-friendly construction materials named geopolymer concrete and cement, which are suitable for traditional construction and for 3D printing applications. The technology of geopolymer concrete is based on the idea of applying inorganic mineral substances the production of which does not require additional use of natural resources and does not lead to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere (byproducts of metallurgical, electro-metallurgical industries, power plants, coal mines, etc.). The range of our products is very wide and includes the following applications: geopolymer concrete for 3D printers, thermal insulating geopolymer foam, geopolymer plasters for historical repair and mortars for structural repair, hemp geopolymer blocks, geopolymer paints, coverings for metal constructions to obtain fire protection, constructions for sea water application, passive cooling systems and others. We supply technology for geopolymer concrete and cement worldwide.

Here is a video of #geopolymer 3d print mix (RENCA geopolymer), changing phase from dry to wet with mechanical input. If you need more excitement in your life, definitely try printing with geopolymers. First you will fight at least eight urges to add water (Unbreakable Rule 1: DON'T ADD WATER, EVER). Then you will take at least 12 videos waiting for the phase change. Here is our one minute video so you may also feel the excitement. 😅 Larger batches of this would be challenging, for sure.
