At Shangri-La, we observe World Children’s Day on 20 November, a global day of action dedicated to advocating for and raising awareness about the rights of every child, without discrimination. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to shine. This belief drives our commitment to the Embrace programme, where each of our properties builds a long-term relationship with a local non-profit supporting underprivileged children. For World Children’s Day 2024, our hotels will host a variety of activities, from reading children stories and providing environmental education tours, to taking them to museums and more. We will also celebrate and fundraise for community partners that champion children’s health and wellbeing.
