The SAIS Group of Schools was established in 1997 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, upon the opening of Sharjah American International School. Dr. Aysha Ali Bin Sayyar and Dr. Nawaf Mohamed Fawaz envisioned more educational choices to become available for students and their parents. Following the success of Sharjah American International School in Sharjah, a second brand was opened in Dubai, UAE in 2005. The increased success among the schools led to yet another branch in Umm Al Quwain in 2014 and was shortly followed by our branch in Abu Dhabi in 2016. The schools offer a rich American Curriculum which is based on internationally recognized American Education Standards including CCSS for English and Math, and NGSS standards for Science. The school models California State Education Framework.

Here are five impactful questions managers can ask to forge a deeper connection with their team members and ignite that motivational spark: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦’𝐬 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬?     There is no one-size-fits-all formula for fostering a great company culture; however, this principle deeply resonates with me: “𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅.” In my experience, a thriving culture is built on authentic connections and mutual respect, which leads to increased engagement, innovation, and satisfaction. When we lead with genuine respect, empathy, and open communication, we create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. The truth is, an organization’s success depends on the culture we create. It’s this culture that fuels passion and sparks meaningful change.     Sometimes, we just need to hit pause ⏸ Life moves fast, and it’s so easy to get caught up in the constant rush. I've personally found that taking a moment to step outside, breathe, and let my mind wander helps me reset and refocus. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated; just a few minutes to gather my thoughts, reflect on what’s around me, and remind myself of the bigger picture.
