Sharjah Maritime Academy (SMA), founded in 2023 under the leadership of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, is the UAE’s leading institution for maritime education, supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. Located in Khorfakkan, SMA offers the only CAA-accredited maritime bachelor’s degrees in the UAE. As an Accredited Training Provider by the National Qualifications Centre, SMA utilizes advanced simulation facilities and internationally experienced trainers to ensure our graduates are ready to lead in the maritime sector.
