This is the home of Graphic Design’s Greatest. That’s right. The Greatest. From the designers, studios, type foundries and brands at the top of their game, to the best products and jobs in the business. What is The Greatest, you might ask? To us, it’s not reputation, location or origin. Greatness can come from anywhere. It can be anything. Beautiful or functional. Unexpected or unusual. Loud or quiet. Familiar or new. Whatever it is, it’s rooted in quality. Quality over everything. We’ve been labelled as many things over the years – a blog, marketplace, platform, even the news or the press. We’re not too worried about titles. What we are, for sure, is a curious creative team with a relentless commitment to curation and community. What started in 2015 as an Instagram account meticulously curating projects has become a treasure trove that is now trusted by a forward-thinking community of more than 900,000 creatives and companies. Our features go beyond inspiration to provide insight, advice and recommendations from the top 1% of designers, studios, type foundries and brands. Our store unites the greatest products for work and life in one place, offering a selection of mockups, templates, assets, books and posters created or curated by our team. Our jobs page casts aside uninspiring text-heavy listings in favour of visual layouts, transparent salaries, flexible posting times and a fair pricing model, making it easier to find the perfect fit. Together, they form the leading destination for insights, products and jobs. Fuelled by the work, knowledge and support of the graphic design industry’s top 1%.

Khwagah was a culture kitchen based in Amsterdam, with a South Asian heart. Although it has shut since it first opened, in the time that it existed, the kitchen doled out a delicious South Asian fare, and hosted meet-ups, tabla classes and film screenings. Before it could come to life though, it needed an identity, and it reached out to Designer Naveed Hussain. In the hands of Hussain, Khwabgah’s identity received a charming nostalgic touch, brimming with moments that would be at once familiar to anyone from the subcontinent. If Ayoh!, a saucy mayo brand, is on a mission to kill boring sandwiches, then its look, surely, couldn’t be boring too? CENTER got the brief and delivered a look that packs as much of a punch as the brand’s chunky, lick-your-fingers-clean range of mayo. The custom-designed workmark takes notes from diner and deli signages, while flaunting a modern flair with rounded, gloopy details. “And if you look close enough, you’ll see a drip of sauce in the counter of the ‘o’ that hints at our saucy DNA,” Founder Alex Center tells us. Every aspect of Ayoh!, in fact, is a nod to the graphic language of historic sandwich shops, delis, and diners. “Our research allowed us to capture the flavour and fun of American vernacular in our design system,” adds Center. “Our goal was to design a brand that feels like it’s always been here – a tribute to the enduring charm of the great American sandwich.” See more → t-bi.link/center

If you look at the branding of Hotel Anna & Bel, you can almost feel the kind of time you’d have staying at this boutique hotel. The look, crafted by Cohere, blends a bit of history of the hotel – formerly a women’s asylum and retirement home dating back to 1769 – with its modern persona. The understated type brings the modernity, while the illustrated logo of two women’s faces points to the history of the building. “The typography was inspired by classic French hotel ephemera, echoing the architectural elements of the hotel itself, such as the courtyard and surrounding porches that nod to a New Orleans style with French influence,” Design Director Victoria Costa tells us. “This connection reinforces the brand’s blend of historical depth and modern sensibility, creating a sense of place that feels authentic and considered.” It’s both a place steeped in a rich past, but also a hotel that is refreshingly modern, and its identity – backed by tasteful art direction – gets that.
