Light & Lives collaborated with PARIS SOCIETY and RIKAS Hospitality Group on Gigi Rigolatto, the first restaurant to open at J1 Beach, Dubai. Located along the serene waterfront, Gigi Dubai embodies a unique blend of relaxed luxury and exceptional dining. Guests can indulge in exquisite Italian cuisine, lounge by the pool or private beach, and enjoy outdoor dining in a lush, garden-inspired setting. The lighting design was led by Light iQ who carefully selected the architectural lighting to enhance both ambiance and functionality, bringing the iconic Gigi experience to life. Interior Designer Hugo Toro crafted the space and its unique interior elements, infusing Gigi with a charm reminiscent of its Paris and Saint Tropez locations. Light & Lives brought this vision to reality by supplying the architectural lighting and creating bespoke fixtures designed by Hugo Toro, including antique-finished wall lamps, suspensions, and table lamps made with materials like rope and rattan, perfectly complementing the restaurant's warm, sophisticated atmosphere. To further enhance Gigi’s presence, the outdoor signage was illuminated using projector lights with custom brackets, while key architectural features within the restaurant, like the elegant arches, were highlighted with narrow projectors for a refined, dramatic effect. By thoughtfully illuminating these elements, an inviting atmosphere was created that captures the Italian-inspired aesthetic of Gigi Rigolatto, making it a standout destination on Dubai’s J1 Beach.

Exciting News from Light & Lives! We are thrilled to announce that Light & Lives had the honor of supplying lighting and controls for the prestigious Ras Al Hekma Exhibition Center in Egypt. This center served as the stage for groundbreaking moments, including ADQ appointing Modon Holding as master developer for the Ras El Hekma megaproject in the presence of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. It was also where NIO launched its partnership with CYVN Holdings to bring NIO MENA to life.
