ThreeFold is a decentralized Cloud & Internet infrastructure. Unlike other DePIN projects that run at the protocol level, ThreeFold technology runs on bare metal.
ThreeFold enables sovereign infrastructure, meaning that data stays local and cannot be lost nor corrupted. Thanks to our unmatched level of security, we have been mandated to deploy the underlying software for the public digital infrastructure of governments.
We are the only DePIN project with a working bare metal solution which resolves the biggest bottlenecks for the plumbing of Internet, Blockchain, and Cloud on the 3 required levels:
Data: Our data, non-compromised, always private, scaling to the planetary level, can be distributed and stored in ways which are at least 10x more efficient and orders of magnitude more secure and reliable.
Network: End to end encrypted overlay network looking for the shortest path between participants. Logical Internet address linked to private key, unlimited scale and performance optimizations.
Cloud: Self-healing & self-driving cloud, bare metal efficient secure operating system, run every web 2,3, AI workload at the edge of the Internet with more scalability and reliability.
