Civil Engineer

We're seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in tendering, subcontractor coordination, quantity surveying, and quality control. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing site activities, managing manpower, and ensuring that projects are completed according to industry standards and safety regulations.

• Tendering & Subcontractor Management: Handle tendering processes and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Project Management: Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Quantity Surveying: Prepare and review quantity take-offs and estimates.
• Site Management: Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Monitor project cash flow and ensure financial accuracy.
• Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Develop and implement QA/QC policies and procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to approved method statements and inspection test plans.
• Quality Control: Prepare and update Quality Control Manuals, day-to-day reports, and ensure all construction work meets industry quality standards.
• Site Inspections: Make regular site visits to inspect ongoing work and ensure the quality of construction.
• Report Generation: Provide daily updates and reports on site conditions, progress, and quality checks.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Presentation: Prepare project-specific quality presentations (PPT) as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the UAE in civil engineering, with a focus on construction.
• Dubai Municipality Accreditation is required.
• Experience in tendering, quantity surveying, and subcontractor management.
• Strong knowledge of project management, including manpower and site management.
• Ability to forecast project cash flow and maintain financial accuracy.
• In-depth understanding of QA/QC standards, control procedures, and industry practices.
• High-rise construction experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare quality reports and presentations.
