Solution Architect - Data & AI

We are looking an experienced Data and AI Solution Architect to design and implement powerful solutions demonstrating Azure and AWS cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies, with a focus on creating scalable and efficient solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Design comprehensive data and AI architectures using Azure and AWS services. Create detailed solution blueprints, including data flow diagrams and system architectures. Ensure designs adhere to standard methodologies for security, scalability, and performance

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives.  Mentor junior architects and developers on cloud and AI technologies

Cloud Platform Expertise: Leverage Azure and AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics. Implement AI and machine learning solutions using cloud-native tools. Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management

Data Management: Design data pipelines for efficient ETL processes. Implement data governance and quality control measures. Architect solutions for big data processing and real-time analytics

AI and Machine Learning: Develop architectures for machine learning model training and deployment. Implement MLOps practices for continuous integration and delivery of AI models. Design solutions for natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI domains

Integration and APIs: Design API strategies for seamless integration between systems. Implement microservices architectures when appropriate. Ensure interoperability between Azure, AWS, and on-premises systems.

Security and Compliance: Incorporate security standard methodologies into all solution designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Implement data encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms.

Performance Optimization: Conduct performance testing and optimization of data and AI solutions. Implement caching strategies and data partitioning for improved efficiency. Design for high availability and disaster recovery.

Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on the latest advancements in cloud, data, and AI technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools and services for potential adoption.Contribute to the company's technology roadmap.

7+ Years experience in solution architecture, with a focus on data and AI solutions

Extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including:

Azure: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services

AWS: AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda

Proficiency in cloud-native data storage solutions: Relational: Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora; NoSQL: Azure Cosmos DB, Amazon DynamoDB; Data Lakes: Azure Data Lake Storage, Amazon S3

Expertise in data modeling and database design (star schema, snowflake schema, data vault)

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration

Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Scala for data engineering tasks

Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NLTK, OpenCV

Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices: Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, MLflow, Kubeflow

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon EKS

Experience with real-time data processing: Azure Stream Analytics, Amazon Kinesis, Apache Flink

Understanding of data governance and security: Azure Active Directory, AWS IAM, data encryption, RBAC

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform

Experience with API design and implementation: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, API Management tools

Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate.

AWS certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty.

Additional experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)

Knowledge of time-series databases and IoT solutions.
