Our Bird & Bird Middle East team recently volunteered at Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs in Dubai. Senses is a non-profit charitable organisation and the first residential care facility serving orphans and abandoned children with special needs. During our volunteering day, the Senses sports team hosted sports activities and games which both our Bird & Bird team and the children enthusiastically participated in. This was followed by small scale classroom activities, focused on education and learning. In addition, our team donated over 4,500 food items to the Senses Wish List. We’ve experienced firsthand the incredible work the Senses team does. For more information, please reach out to the Senses team at partnerships@sensescenter.ae.

Last week on a flying visit to Riyadh, we had the privilege of hosting an event together with Microsoft for an exclusive group of key decision makers, representatives of government entities and senior legal counsel, discussing the challenges and opportunities around AI and in particular AI regulations. The discussion was led by Robert Ivanschitz and Maher Melhem from Microsoft who were joined by our own Bird & Bird Middle East experts Nick O'Connell and Simon Shooter. A big thank you to Robert and Maher, but also to our attendees who actively participated and made for an insightful & interesting discussion.
