Stayed 4 nights, great location and service. Room we booked was fantastic, comfortable bed, large marble bathroom. Lots to eat and shop all around. Just beware if you are catching a taxi to the hotel, for our 8km journey it took us 1.5 hours as the city bridge was ridiculously jammed!!! Catching a metro I would if I come to Chongqing again! Also avoid the summer (& holiday) months - it was inferno Hot 🥵 42+ (but feel like 49) degrees in August, the whole day and night!!!!!

Room and toilet are clean. It comes with a bath tub as well. Location is central with a 24/7 convenience store right across the hotel. There are a few food options along the same stretch as well. Check-in took a while as there is only 1 staff working the counter. Aside from that, will recommend the hotel to fellow travellers.

The hotel room is spacious, clean ,airconworks well. The breakfast spread is very good, lots of variety and they taste good. Drink desk staff is friendly, they helped us book hotel at 4 am ,otherwise we have to hail one on the street. The only set back is the bath room light is dim. They give plenty of mineral water and soft drink for free, a good gesture , you didn't need to intercom them every time you need water. Will come back to this hotel again.

Enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel with my wife and daughter. It is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from a subway station. All of the staff were very professional and helpful. Found the hotel to be clean throughout. Would certainly come again.

Hotel counter staff and concierge were friendly and quick to assist us with our queries. Kudos to concierge staff member 小唐 and 小覃 in particular for helping us purchase 1949 grand theatre tickets when we had trouble doing so, and also for providing us attraction recommendations which made our tripe experience more enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel for travellers as the amenities are generally clean and spacious, and the location is ideal.

A little difficulty in finding the entrance to this hotel as there is no signboard with the hotel name on the outside. No restaurants in the hotel but food is not a problem as there are many food stalls and restaurants along the streets downstairs. Transportation is convenient as subway station is a short walk away and there are taxis outside. Room is big and value for money.

We are a pair of 70 year old couple travelling solo. This place is located centrally and it is easy to walk and travel around the Chong qing City from here.The place is really comfortable and smack of chinese tradtion and culture. The view of the river each night is stunning and you are a part of Hongyadong light up each night. I woke up thrice very early around 4am and went to the reception to ask about how to get around to different sights. On 5th and 6th Sep morning, the receptionist was utterly sweet and patient with this old lady, giving very careful and detailed information with explanations to help me. Thsnk you once again dear sweet recetionist. I am sorry u do not know your nsme. Hence the dates. Unfortunately on the morning of 7th Sep i encountered a rude shock of a receptionist who expressed rude mannerism on being awakened just before 5 am, reluctant to help, trying to push me off by pushing a tiny pamphlet that she said was self explanatory about diections for various sights. I declined saying i could not read chinese. Thereafter, it wa either, its difficult to get there or you could get there in a cab!

Nice hotel in great location with walking distance to Hongya Cave, Kuixing Tower and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Front desk and concierge staffs are friendly and helpful. Clean room and spacious. Thank you for the welcome gift. Only feedback is pillow too soft and flat. The chief at egg station was reluctant to make sunny side up when my husband requested on Day 1. We stayed 4 nights, the subsequent requests were served without any excuses.😄

For overseas travellers, Fraser’s is no-doubt the best place to go to. Tourist friendly, value-for-money, and impeccable service. Location is also nearby a number of amenities and a pretty nice mall , with an amazing livehouse nearby. The service staff, Amy as well as others here that have served me have been amazing and were accommodating to my wants of replacing the ironing board as well as giving me fruits upon arrival, upgrading my room without me requesting, and even letting me check out late as my flight isn’t till the evening. Simply splendid and I would book this place again if I’m ever back in Chengdu. Attached hotel lobby pictures for reference, rooms look better than in photos. Won’t go wrong here. Food deliveries are done efficiently with a robot, and you can even add their WeChat to ask for any help with almost immediate response. It was my first time staying at a kempinski hotel and I was quite happy with my stay with the price that I paid for. It was a bit dusty in the room and I got a bit of a itch but it was alright.
