The front desk service of the hotel is very good. It will speak Mandarin and Cantonese. It will tell you where the main push is in Penang. In the evening, you will put sugar on the bed. The parking space is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can buy a parking ticket. The afternoon tea is very good. Very good, a lot of food nearby

Highly recommended. The staff are really nice. The environment is also very good. Got a swimming pool...and our room got a bathtub. The place is very convenient and near the attraction. Children are welcome to stay. At the end, we changed another room to the king size room which has a bathtub.
St. Giles Wembley Penang

My stay at St Giles Wembley Hotel, Penang, was truly delightful thanks to the excellent service provided. Initially, I chose the executive room under the impression that it would include a bathtub. Although this wasn’t the case, the hotel staff promptly apologized and compensated with complimentary breakfast, which I appreciated greatly. What elevated my experience further was gaining access to the Executive Lounge. The service there was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional. The chef and lounge staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast, especially the nasi lemak, which was absolutely delicious. The coffee deserves special mention as well—simply the best. The room itself was very clean, though I noticed that the carpet might need a bit more attention, as dust could be an issue if kids run around. However, this was a minor concern compared to the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The hotel’s strategic location made getting around Penang incredibly convenient, and the checkout process was seamless and efficient, with no unnecessary delays. Overall, St Giles Wembley exceeded my expectations with its attentive service, fantastic amenities, and strategic location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Penang.

A Chinese-owned bed and breakfast is very close to the surname bridge. There are also many Chinese-opened tea rooms for breakfast. The room is small, the toilet is cool, and no one can speak Chinese when the boss is absent. The grand birthday of the Tiangong, I do not know whether it is fireworks or someone hit the window. Anyway, when the shower was in the window, the window was so loud that the mother was scared. I thought someone was out of the window. I quickly called to come over and check, and I didn’t find out the reason. The staff was also very good. It’s said that we didn’t change rooms, and we didn’t bother to change the last day.

My sis and I went to Penang for a vacay and we randomly picked this place we saw some reviews and didn’t expect anything but it turned out so well. The place is so clean and new and comfy and so impressive , the staff are quite helpful and willing to communicate with foreigners like us. The location is located a bit away from the art street but still walkable and not too busy. Thus I would highly recommend this place to others who may come to Penang ,super love 🥰💕

It started off rough. Got into the hotel early to leave our luggage and the guy manning the check in was cold, standoffish, and didn’t even bother replying to our pleasantries. When we returned, a misunderstanding ensured. Cos of my earlier encounter, I was just unreasonable. But thank goodness for Suhaila (I think) and her manager - they deescalated the situation with grace and aplomb. That bump aside, I had a lovely time. Was in room 213. Initially I was worried because I have read about noise issues coming from the club next door. But either the club was closed or the soundproofing worked, there were no disturbances. We slept like babies. The room was beautiful, and the location is amazing. This hotel is highly Recommended. Just don’t bother to pay extra for the breakfast. That was just too sad. We tried it on our last day in the hotel as we were leaving early for the airport. It was dismal.
