EAW-Empowering Afghan Women We empower Afghan women and girls through education, awareness and advocacy.
در باره ما
Empowering Afghan Women (EAW) is dedicated to advocacy and raising awareness for the empowerment of Afghan women. Since the Taliban occupation in 2021, EAW has been steadfast in its mission to empower and support Afghan women through education and awareness initiatives. Over the past four years, EAW has been at the forefront, providing advocacy for women's rights and education despite the challenges imposed by the Taliban. Led by founder Lamar Zala Gran, EAW focuses on promoting awareness of women's issues in Afghanistan and globally. Through targeted advocacy efforts, EAW strives to bring attention to the barriers Afghan women face, including restrictions on education and employment opportunities. Our goal is to foster a supportive environment where Afghan women can thrive and contribute to society.

📢 Stand with Afghan Women and Girls! Last week, the Taliban made the devastating decision to ban girls from studying in medical institutions, further restricting their right to education and opportunity. But Afghan women and girls are rising up, courageously protesting this injustice and demanding their fundamental right to learn, grow, and thrive. We must stand with them—today, tomorrow, and always. The voices of Afghan women and girls deserve to be heard, and it is up to us to amplify their call for change. Let’s be their voice. Let’s speak out for their future. 🌍✊ #StandWithAfghanWomen #EducationForAll #AfghanGirls #HumanRights #EndTheBan #VoiceOfAfghanWomen

🌍✨ On International Human Rights Day, we stand united for the rights and dignity of all people, everywhere. Today, we honor the resilience of women in Afghanistan and around the world who continue to fight for their freedom, equality, and basic human rights despite facing violence and oppression. These women are not just survivors; they are champions of change, striving for a better future for their families and communities. On this important day, let’s amplify their voices. Educate ourselves and others, advocate for justice, and support organizations providing education, healthcare, and safety to those in need. 💪 Together, we can create a world where everyone—especially women—can live free from fear, discrimination, and violence. #InternationalHumanRightsDay #StandForHumanRights #SupportAfghanWomen #EqualityForAll #EndViolence #HumanRights #JusticeAndEquality

International Human Rights Day: Standing with Afghanistan Today, on International Human Rights Day, we stand in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, whose basic freedoms are under threat. Since the return of the Taliban, women and girls have been denied education, freedom of expression is crushed, and human rights defenders face violence. Afghans deserve dignity, freedom, and justice—rights that should never be taken away. This day reminds us that the fight for human rights continues, and we must raise our voices in support of those who are silenced. Let’s amplify Afghan voices and demand global action for freedom, equality, and safety. #HumanRightsDay #StandWithAfghanistan #JusticeForAfghanistan #WomenRights #EndHumanRightsAbuse #FreedomForAll #GlobalSolidarity

🚨 Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan Shamila Mashal, a determined Afghan girl with dreams of becoming a doctor, has been banned from medical institutions. She now faces severe restrictions on her education and future, like countless other Afghan girls. This is more than a personal tragedy—it’s gender apartheid, a systemic erasure of women and girls from public life and education. 🖤 Denying education denies humanity, hope, and progress. 📢 We cannot stay silent. Stand with Shamila and all Afghan girls fighting for their basic right to education. The world must act to end this grave injustice. 🔗 Join the movement. Amplify their voices. Advocate for change. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn #EndGenderApartheid #StandWithAfghanWomen

🎥 A Voice Silenced but Not Forgotten In a powerful video, a courageous Afghan medical student shares a heart-wrenching poem about the injustice women face in Afghanistan. Her dreams of becoming a doctor—a beacon of hope for countless women—were shattered when she was banned from attending medical or nursing institutions. ✨ “I wanted to heal wounds, but they wounded my dreams. I wanted to save lives, but they buried mine under silence.” ✨ Her story is not just her own—it’s the story of thousands of Afghan women who are being denied education, dignity, and hope. 📢 We stand with her and all Afghan women. Education is a right, not a privilege. Let’s amplify her voice and demand global action to restore their rights. 🔗 Watch her poem and join the movement to support Afghan women. #StandWithAfghanWomen #LetAfghanGirlsLearn #WomenForChange
