Last week, I enjoyed the PropTech Connect Europe event! It was an incredible gathering focused on real estate technology, filled with the latest trends and insights from industry leaders and startups. The energy and passion for innovation were truly inspiring. Thank you Matthew Maltzoff for the invite and for organising such a high-quality industry-specific event! The atmosphere was fun and lively! Hearing professionals discuss their daily challenges, especially around leveraging technology for efficiency, was refreshing. It’s clear that innovation is needed across the industry. Sharing knowledge to help integrate better tech into daily work is crucial, as people are our most important asset. It was good to hear that everyone is on it. That’s why we are passionate about helping real estate companies with their digital transformations. ryse (YC W24) makes it easy for banks and asset managers to buy $1.5T of real estate leases from owners and operators looking to eliminate risk, generate working capital, and accelerate growth. Currently, there's no marketplace for buyers or sellers of lease-backed assets to meet and trade. There's also no access or standardization of the data required to value these assets or infrastructure to support trading, reporting, and payment processing. Founded by Sean Mitchell, Harsh Yadav, Thomas L. Smith, and Seva Levitski, Ryse is the first marketplace where lease buyers and sellers can transact seamlessly. Ryse is building the operating system for this new asset class, using purpose-built APIs and software to collect and standardize underwriting data directly from real estate operators. The platform then uses that data to empower capital markets investors with the ability to analyze, trade, and process payments on lease-backed-asset purchases in real time. With Ryse, investors generate higher returns by unlocking this new asset class, and real estate operators scale their businesses faster, with less risk and more flexibility.
