TEDxYSMU

TEDxYSMU is organized by a nonprofit foundation (stichting) driven by volunteers and financially supported by sponsors from the corporate world. The main goal of the foundation is to organize several annual TEDxYSMU events and create a movement around ‘ideas worth spreading’. TEDxYSMU brings people together to share a TED-like experience. So, in order to conceive what TED-like experience means, please visit TED.com and watch the videos. At our event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. In our first year TEDxYSMU will take place on Sunday, the 23th of October in YSMU Conference (Red) Hall, 2 Koryun str., Yerevan, Armenia What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYSMU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYSMU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
