ANAD Announces 25 for '25 Campaign!

Recently named Best In Peer Support by VeryWell Mind, ANAD is excited to share several of our organization’s goals to keep the growth and momentum going in 2025!
25% Growth in Peer Support Space
For 2025, we are setting the goal of increasing our support group capacity by 25% with a commitment to increasing community accessibility and inclusion with more pop-up support groups for specific identities, experiences, backgrounds, and holidays.
We also hope to continue growing our recurring meeting calendar. We are dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting the volunteers needed to keep our programs growing.

Sustainable Program Growth
Across all programs, ANAD Community grew by 70% in 2024! We remain dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone, which means we must continue to grow our helpline, referral, and mentorship programs as well!
And when we talk about growth, we’re not just looking at quantity. It’s important that we continue to provide personalized, high-quality peer support to everyone who reaches out! This begins with volunteer training and support.
Empower Student Ambassadors in 25 States
The ANAD School Ambassador Program launched in the fall of 2024 and has quickly become a platform for students to bring change, support, and resources to their high school and college campuses. We have amazing ambassadors active in 16 states already but would love to see that number grow to at least 25 next year!
Together, we can not just raise awareness of eating disorders but help to make sure every student who may be struggling can find the resources and support they need.
Enhanced Connections
Speaking of training and support, we hope to continue making technological updates to ensure our volunteers have the best possible experience and feel fully supported in their roles.
We also hope to continue to enhance our support group registration process for our beneficiaries and our partnerships with fellow non-profits and professional organizations to strength connections and foster community.
