New Apple TV+ 'Charlie Brown' special announced for Mother's Day

Apple TV+ has released a trailer for "To Mom (And Dad), With Love," a new "Peanuts" special that will stream from May 6, 2022.

"While the other kids are excited to celebrate the special day, for Peppermint Patty it's just a reminder that she didn't grow up with a mom," writes Apple in a press release. "With her good friend Marcie by her side, she soon realizes that real families come in all shapes and sizes, and that Mother's Day is an opportunity to thank that special person in your life who means the most to you."

Releasing in time for Mother's Day, the new one-off special will stream from Friday, May 6, on Apple TV+. The special is the latest new Charlie Brown and Snoopy production since the deal between Apple TV+ and Wildbrain was announced, and it's written by Alex Galatis.
