Play Your Cards Right in Moxie Word Traveler - A Game of Strategy, Fun, and Wordplay!

Love word puzzles, word patterns, and clever challenges? Moxie Word Traveler combines the best of card and word games into a unique adventure perfect for casual players and puzzle lovers.

• Play at Your Own Pace: No clock, no rush – just pure, relaxing fun.
• Exercise Your Brain: Use strategy and creativity to transform words, avoid “twaddles,” and score big!
• Easy to Learn, Challenging to Master: Simple mechanics, 2,400+ hand-crafted puzzles, and daily challenges invite you back for more.

Unwind while you sharpen your mind and build your vocabulary.

Each level gives you a solitaire-style deck of letter cards to place on the board, creating chains of words. But don’t break the chain – that's called a “twaddle” and it will lock a letter.

Like Scrabble and Words With Friends, you add one letter at a time to the words already on the board, turning them into new words. Like anagram puzzles, word jumbles, and word searches, you use word patterns to find the best spot for each letter.

You can play Moxie Word Traveler anytime, even if you just have a few minutes. Or you can beat many levels at once – it’s up to you!

Love, love, love this game!

I absolutely love playing Moxie! It is up there with Wordle and Words with Friends. I have been playing it since the beginning because all the Blue Ox games are fun and clever word games. Moxie is very challenging once you understand how to play. There is a tutorial as you start and stick with it because it cleverly explains how to play and tricks and to help you score the best words. Like Wordle you are only playing against yourself, but unlike ke Wordle there is no limit to how many games you can play in one sitting LOL! Once you’ve worked out the rules and understand how to play it is absolutely addictive — but in a good way. Playing Moxie has thoroughly helped my scores in Words with Friends. If you have a question, the Blue Ox team answer you quickly and give you a clear explanations to help you play your best game. I think this is the first review I have every posted but this game deserves my time and yours. It’s that good. Have fun!

Addictive But Somewhat Frustrating

This game is all the good things that others have expressed, but it also has drawbacks. For one, there are few ‘rewards’ of coins or power tools along the way, just lots of “opportunities” to purchase same. All other games I play provide a small daily reward for checking-in, and bonus rewards during game play. Some levels are highly challenging (a good thing) but highly frustrating without power tools or coins to buy them (not a good thing). There also seems to be some stinginess when one runs out of lives, which take ½ hour to regenerate. I’ve used up all 5 lives, then closed out the game only to open it hours later and see that all 5 lives are still expired. As soon as I open the game, the first life is just beginning to regenerate. I’ve seen several times when I’m on Life #5 and it tells me I’m 26 minutes before the next life is available. Several minutes later when I’ve still not conquered that level, the clock resets back to 30 minutes until the next life is available. I have also been awarded 4 power tools upon reaching a new ‘destination’ only to have them all disappear after using just one. Also, the “Undo” tool is not available when one is at the end of the 5th life. Glitches or greediness? Either way, makes the game less pleasurable.

Thank you for your feedback. There is a daily reward available: look for a small suitcase with an exclamation point beside it on the upper right hand side of the home screen. Please send details about the issues with hearts and disappearing power-ups to support@blueox.email so we can determine why this is happening to you.

I love this game!

I play it all the time. My husband can always tell because I am holding my tablet in portrait mode! I was wondering what if anything triggers the Word frenzy challenges. I have it on a couple of devices, okay 3. They are all on different levels. They don’t all do it at the same time. Is it a score thing? Some of them say weekend frenzy, but not all of my devices start the challenge. I am just curious, it is my favorite part. And of course, learning archaic Scottish farming words!🤣🤣
