Changing to strong passwords

I love this new password app on my iPhone. It’s particularly convenient to be able to select which passwords I want to share with others. My frustration is the difficulty I have changing my compromised, old passwords on the 100’s of sites I use. I have to go back and forth from the app to the web page clicking on things, inputting old passwords, hopping I get it r right so the app will generate a strong password for me. It can take a lot of effort, mostly due to the web site side of this equation. It would be brilliant if this could somehow be streamlined so I could change all my passwords quickly and easily in one fell swop. That appears to be a bridge too far still. So I slowly go back and forth between the password app and the 100’s of sites I have changing each one at a time. Say, 5-10 minutes per site password change, I’m looking at weeks to get them all done. Life will be easier then.

Great launch, looking forward to more features.

Love the look and feel of the app, as always from Apple. The feature set is pretty solid too for a first version. Passkeys, sharing, OAUTH codes, and security warnings are awesome. I currently use and pay for nordpass, but this application is tempting me to end that. There are a few features that would be nice to see that nordpass currently has. For example, I can keep certain passwords in folders, which yes there is a shared folder option but I don't necessarily want to share these, just organize them. Another nice feature would be being able to save credit cards, and other personally identifiable info like passports or whatever. I know that leaks over into the "Wallet" app but those features aren't quite there. Maybe they can be integrated into that application instead. Secure notes would be nice as well but that's already taken care of by "Notes", just a different app that I will have to navigate to, not a big deal. A password generator built into the iOS version would be nice as well, I see it's on Mac already in a simple way. Would be cool to see that built better for more customization of the password.

Helpful, but Needs More Features

Apple Passwords is a useful app for managing my passwords and keeping them secure across my devices. I appreciate the convenience of autofill and the ability to sync passwords across my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It definitely adds a layer of security to my accounts, and the integration with Face ID and Touch ID makes logging in quick and easy.

However, there are a few areas where the app could improve. The interface feels a bit basic, and it can be a little cumbersome to manage large sets of passwords. I also wish there were more options for organizing passwords or adding custom categories. Additionally, there’s limited functionality for syncing passwords with third-party apps, which would be helpful. Another issue I’ve encountered is that it sometimes doesn’t show the website or app’s logo, making it harder to identify certain entries quickly.

Overall, Apple Passwords does the job, but it could use some extra features and improvements to make it more user-friendly and powerful. It’s a solid start, but there’s room for growth.
