Love the idea, hoping with time the execution pays off.

To start I should say I’m a coach and a parent of players. I like the app as a coach although the mobile features are pretty lacking. All the detail work needs to be done on a desktop using their website and it is not intuitive. It has some benefits for scheduling and the detail in regards to player stats, etc. is pretty solid. It is frustrating that you cannot see the schedules of your opponents or their results within your division or league. That would be pretty helpful. You can infer in from points and goal differential but it doesn’t seem like it’d be a difficult integration.

As a parent of a player on a team other than the one I coach whose team also uses squads, it’s next to impossible to figure out how to follow his team and team stats. It is not intuitive and the menus are so limited. I’d love to see this app take some notes fe TeamSnap. If you could take all the ease of use of TeamSnap and marry it with Squadi you might have the perfect soccer app.

Sadly, this app is a long way from that.

Why anyone would use this app is beyond me. The user experience is sub par at best. They should hire someone who has dealt with user interfaces for actual sports platforms. The website and app experience is completely disconnected from a user authentication and interface experience.

The app is good but as a ref it takes a while to get paid and the app can be very hard to sign up to, but the developers are always updating the app which is great, but there is a lot more you need before this app it great.
