I manage 4 GApps domains (2 companies & 2 volunteer fire departments) & don't know how I could manage without FlashPanel. FP simplifies user & shared contacts administration. More importantly, BetterCloud listens. Whenever I've asked them to simplify an action (e.g. reducing the number of clicks to add a shared contact), my suggestion finds its way into a future release. BRAVO!!

I've been using BetterCloud for over two years as the sole admin to manage an org of about 130 users. I use it almost daily and it is a very valuable tool to help manage our Google Apps account. It isn't just a different interface than the Google Admin console - but has so many more features and shortcuts. Examples: quickly adding a user to multiple groups (or multiple users to one group); one button setup of email forwarding for a user; one button migration of one users Docs to another user; awesome user provision/deprovision/disable/delete workflow tool; auditing Google Drive Docs. If you are managing your Google Apps account more than once a month, you should definitely give this tool a try.

I am so glad I discovered FlashPanel. I had been trying to make multiple changes in Google Apps for Education, but there was no way to make global changes. FlashPanel enabled me to make those changes globally and so much more. As long as it's free (we are a public school) I will use it!

I can give you many reasons why I chose BetterCloud to be a part of our company support suite. However, I will give you my most recent case. Two days ago CryptoWall 3.0 (Ransomware) was brought into one of our networks by an end user. CryptoWall eventually worked its way onto a File Server. It also affected files shared by the end user via Google Drive Sync. Google did a great job by blocking the sync of all local encrypted files. However, allowed some residual files to be synced (HELP_ENCRYPT). I used BetterCloud to my advantage to isolate the threat by using the Drive Audit to conduct several thorough searches for all users in the OU. Without BetterCloud this would have potentially become a huge nightmare. However, I was able to eliminate the threat in a timely fashion with the help of BetterCloud.

We had a need for better management of our google apps account -- with users coming in and out every few months we did not know how to migrate documents, calendars, emails etc. in a consistent and transparent fashion. FlashPanel makes this process so easy and we finally feel like we have some visibility into and control over the process. A really excellent product - highly recommended. Thank you Flashpanel!

A solid product but can be unreliable and slow at times (especially when dealing with anything to do with Drive). The recent price hike for enterprise is also a bit difficult to accept given the fact there is no real added functionality. For certain elements of Google Apps (such as Groups) I find the Google admin console more robust than BetterCloud. It was once an obvious element of our tech suite (largely due to its affordability) but with this new hike I find myself questioning just how necessary it really is.

I cannot fathom why I need such an application to manage a user directory. This is a feature that should be provided by Google if they want to service Enterprise. That said, we have been using FlashPanel for more than 2 years. We have always had Authorization Token Problems which were reported to support, yet never resolved. The auto-signature tool was flaky as was their bulk updating tool. Maybe we were a beta customer. $1/user per month was ludicrous. We were unable to justify renewing this year as we didn't see that much value in the product. With today's switch from FlashPanel to BetterCloud, I have found myself finally writing this review. Gone are all of the free features, which means the product has now become entirely useless.

First the bad: The recent UI interface helped, but it still feels kludgy in some areas. Most days, if you ask me about the price of BetterCloud I would say "it's kinda pricey." Then… Then the good: Every now and then we need to do something that would take forever or be impossible in the regular Google Apps admin panel, we discover we can do it efficiently in BetterCloud, and I think "money well spent." Bulk permission changes on groups, automated periodic reports, and the deprovision workflow are some of the things that made it easy to say yes to renewing this year. That and their support team, who are very good and highly responsive.

It's not a substitute for Google Apps administration panel, but an enhancement to all the options and management possibilities. You have a completely different look and feel, on which I feel much more comfortable than with Google's, and also a variety of bulk operations which are messed actually. On the other hand, I tend to come back to Google admin console for different operations such as domain management and other types of statistics. Both, Google's and FlasPanel are very good tools with different uses. Just get used to select the proper one for each of your day to day needs. Don't miss this one!

4.5 stars We've been using Google Apps for about 4 months now, and FlashPanel has been very effective in managing user accounts, adding/deleting, and the new feature allowing for bulk uploads to add/change user accounts... AWESOME! I dinged FlashPanel .5 star because of the Group Management interface. I had to make changes to all our Groups re: Posting access and had to revert to the Google Control Panel because FlashPanel didn't have hooks for all the settings. This is probably a Google restriction, but FlashPanel made it look like I could make those changes here. Otherwise, every way that I use FlashPanel is easy and a great help!
