At Gurpi we have the mission of unleashing the full potential of gig-economy workers by providing the financial services they need to grow, creating a more fair and inclusive financial system For example, delivery riders could triple their income by just switching from bycicles to motorbikes. However, getting financing to buy a motorbike has been extremely challenging for many of them due to their lack of credit history We solve this problem by using a merit-based approach (analyzing data from their work account such as trips made per week, income generated, rating of their customers) instead of focusing on credit history
