👏 A huge shoutout to Fede Iachetti for leading an informative and insightful show and tell this month! 🙌 During this talk, Fede walked us through the JavaScript migration from Legacy JS to Hotwire, as him and his team are currently performing this migration for a client. He told us how they decided to migrate from the current state of JavaScript assets to a solution that implements the latest technologies recommended by the Rails team (aka Hotwire). 🚀 We have learned to identify different issues in JavaScript and CSS assets that affect our ability to deliver our code, and how transitioning to Hotwire and refactoring our controllers accordingly can help us improve our code base's development efficiency, workflows, and maintainability. 🗣📝🎯 Thank you, Fede, for sharing your valuable knowledge and experience with the team! 👏 A huge shoutout to Andres Kohan for leading an informative and insightful show and tell this month! 🙌 During this talk, Andrés walked us through a challenging case of a migration using the Percona toolkit that greatly impacted the customer and left a great learning experience for the entire development team.  🚀 We learned how to operate in a similar situation, to identify possible risks and provide solutions that can help mitigate cases which we have to manipulate tables with large volumes of data. We closed last week puffing out our chests with happiness. Last Wednesday we celebrated Razor's 5th anniversary. 🌟 5️⃣ 🌟 It was a moment to share with part of the team that was in Bahía Blanca, together with family and friends close to the company. 🫂 As we always say in the corridors of the office "The company is made by all of us" and we toasted to that. It has been 5 years of looking beyond, of commitment, of being responsible and professional, of laughter, of jokes at lunch and FIFA games, but above all, of spending time as a team and encouraging each other to keep improving what we do and make Razor grow. Thanks to everyone who was present, both in person and virtually, and especially thanks to our clients for continuing to trust us. 💙 Here's to 5 more years of professional challenges together.
