No they don’t. It’s patronizing teachers like this that has kept education focused on indoctrination instead of learning for 200 years. Put your big-boy pants on and consider that working hard, really caring and complaining about the pay don’t have anything at all to do with how successful we have been. Almost half of graduates can’t read and the rest won’t. 100% have no life skills, don’t understand finances and are unemployable. We failed them. We sugarcoat that so we can sleep at night.

A few weeks ago, somebody posted a picture of a page that looked very familiar to me. They were wondering if anybody knew where that page had been taken from as they badly needed those notes. Having been given the green light to share this, I scanned my printed copies of the first Grammar booklet I studied from back in the 90's. The three writers were the best Grammar and Linguistic teachers one could have had. They would be happy to know that new generations of teacher trainees can also study from the wonderful notes they wrote as a team.
