This gathering was a vital step forward, where we met with key partners to share best practices and identify next steps for a more sustainable dairy sector. 🌱 With a strong focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving data monitoring, and creating impactful incentives for farmers, we’re excited to drive real change. 11,000+ kilometers across six months! Our amazing team clocked miles through mountains, cities, and countryside—embracing cycling for a healthier, greener commute. 🚴 This year, we joined #ÖsterreichRadelt, a campaign that promotes cycling to work. From March to September, our ASH team members logged an impressive 11,049 kilometers—the equivalent distance from Vienna to Tokyo! Thanks to our job bike leasing benefit, biking has never been easier for our team, making healthy, sustainable everyday commuting a reality. 🚴💚 Shout out to Melinda, Karolina, and Péter, for sharing your most memorable biking moments! 📸 SPOTLIGHT: Annika – Bringing Sustainability Insights Back from ALDI US! After six months with the National Sustainability team at ALDI USA, Annika has returned to Salzburg with fresh ideas and valuable experiences! 🌱 During her secondment, she explored various aspects of sustainability. She broadened her knowledge of regenerative farming and learned about ways to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions at the farm level. These experiences provided her with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices in the US market. In addition to her professional growth, Annika fully embraced American culture—learning about baseball and travelling to a couple of national parks. Welcome back, Annika!
