👋 Bye-bye concrete, hello GRP! Two weeks ago, we showed you pictures of the large-diameter damaged irrigation pipes of Sifón del Bronco in Valdeobispo, Spain. (https://lnkd.in/dxr8Gn8Q) ✨ Today, we're happy to announce the next stage of this exciting project: The installation of Amiblu Flowtite GRP pipes has started! ▶️ 675 m of Amiblu Flowtite GRP pipes DN 3000 are currently being installed along the old pipeline route. They are the largest-diameter GRP pipes ever installed in an irrigation project in Spain. 🔎 New challenges require new strategies. And if the challenge is as big as climate change, the strategies often need to be quite sophisticated. 🌍 Like in the Italian province of Cuneo, where in 2024, the Bealera Maestra – Destra Stura Irrigation Consortium launched an ambitious project: modernizing irrigation across 12,000 hectares by replacing traditional surface flooding irrigation with an advanced pressurized sprinkler network. And Amiblu helped to make this happen: with expert support and highly durable products to build a future-proof irrigation system. Amiblu Flowtite Grey pipes DN 2000 were installed as main supply lines and DN 300 - DN 500 as distribution lines.
