🚀 Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are booming. Here we show our automated solution for assembling cooling elements into modules. Lithium-ion batteries, particularly those used in electric vehicles and other high-performance applications, demand efficient thermal management to maintain optimal battery life and performance. Cooling solutions, like Miba Group's FLEXcooler®, stand out due to their flexibility and are utilized for this purpose. To meet the required production cycle times, a fully automated assembly system is essential for installing these cooling systems into Li-ion modules and packs. BM-Rosendahl has addressed this need by developing an automated solution for assembling the FLEXcooler® into modules with cylindrical cells. This system is adaptable for various cell and module sizes. It can either be integrated into your production line or function as a stand-alone process station for stacking, ensuring the high-quality standards of Li-ion batteries.
