Our CHASE Expert Days are starting with the SUSTAINABILITY DAY in cooperation with SusChem-AT! Our Scientific director Christian Paulik and #SusChemAT Coordinator Andreas Falk warmly welcome the participants. 20 YEARS OF SUSCHEM Managing Director Patrick Pammer, Co-Chair from SusChem-AT was in Brussels last week to take part in the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of The European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem ETP). 💐A big THANK YOU to SusChem-Secretary Eva-Kathrin Schillinger (Cefic) and SusChem-Chairman Josef Richard Wuensch Dr (BASF) for organizing this great event. 💐Thanks also to the colleagues from the other technology platforms for the interesting workshops during the stakeholder event the next day. UN VIAJE A ESPAÑA A small team from our Researchers had the pleasure to visit the European Regional Meeting from the Polymer Processing Society in Ferrol, Spain. The PPS Meetings are leading conferences in the field of Polymer Science & Engineering and attract internationally renowned scientists, engineers and designers. Johanna Langwieser, Ernst Georg Viehböck and Stefan Kohl not only had the honor of presenting their research results, they also had the pleasure of meeting many experts, exchanging ideas, discussing and acquiring new knowledge. The conference program was very varied, including plenary lectures, technical presentations and poster sessions and the different topics of the sessions reflected the wide range of polymer processing. A central focus was on sustainable solutions and energy-efficient processes. The development of polymer composites, polymer blends and alloys was also highlighted. Other sessions addressed environmental issues and the use of bio-based polymers. In summary, an unforgettable trip to spain, filled with valuable experiences and wonderful impressions. #chase #pps2024 #polymerprocessing #biobasedpolymers
