💡 Tackling #UndeclaredWork in the #WesternBalkans and #EasternPartnership The last two days, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kosovo hosted an insightful two-day Peer Review on undeclared work. Peers from #Albania, #Armenia, and #Moldova — representing Ministries, Labour Inspectorates, and Tax Administrations — came together to exchange ideas and best practices. 🌟 Key themes included were: ✔️ #AwarenessRaising campaigns to inform employers and employees. ✔️ #DigitalTools for smarter enforcement of labour laws and tax compliance. ✔️ Strengthening #InterInstitutional cooperation. ✔️ Legislative changes aimed at addressing legal loopholes identified during inspections. ✔️ Building institutional capacities to sustain efforts in fighting undeclared work. 📌 The discussions also drew from valuable experiences shared by the Financial Administration of Slovenia, Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, International Labour Organization, and the European Centre.   Magdi Birtha Anette Scoppetta Sabina Gjylsheni Darıa Jadric Petrit Reka Roland Hanak #Collaboration #undeclaredwork #RegionalPartnerships #WesternBalkans #EasternPartnership

📢 Exciting update! Our colleague, Magdi Birtha, was invited by the Policy Department on Citizens' Rights and Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament to prepare a #briefing on "The Strategy for the Rights of Persons with #Disabilities 2021-2030: Achievements and Perspectives." 📅 The briefing was presented on 2 December 2024 in #Brussels at the Annual #Workshop on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, hosted by the European Parliament's Committee on Petitions.
