💡 Tackling #UndeclaredWork in the #WesternBalkans and #EasternPartnership The last two days, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kosovo hosted an insightful two-day Peer Review on undeclared work. Peers from #Albania, #Armenia, and #Moldova — representing Ministries, Labour Inspectorates, and Tax Administrations — came together to exchange ideas and best practices. 🌟 Key themes included were: ✔️ #AwarenessRaising campaigns to inform employers and employees. ✔️ #DigitalTools for smarter enforcement of labour laws and tax compliance. ✔️ Strengthening #InterInstitutional cooperation. ✔️ Legislative changes aimed at addressing legal loopholes identified during inspections. ✔️ Building institutional capacities to sustain efforts in fighting undeclared work. 📌 The discussions also drew from valuable experiences shared by the Financial Administration of Slovenia, Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, International Labour Organization, and the European Centre.
