🎥 Launch of the GOOD CITIES Video: Building Communities Through Sharing Goods! We’re excited to share the new video from the GOOD CITIES - Interreg Europe project🌱! The video features our project partners sharing their visions for building cities that embrace the sharing economy—reducing consumption, increasing resource efficiency, and fostering social cohesion.
🎥 GOOD CITIES: Building Communities Through Sharing Goods funded by Interreg Europe! The average Westerner owns approximately 10,000 items, 80% of which are used less than once a month. This is how #overconsumption looks like. Through the GOOD Cities, city partners — 🇪🇪 Tartu, 🇭🇺 Újbuda, 🇫🇮Jyväskylä, 🇳🇱 Tilburg, 🇸🇪 Malmö, and 🇬🇷 Western Macedonia — reshape unsustainable consumption patterns and urban living through the #SharingEconomy. In this video, you’ll discover: 🔷 The key issues GOOD CITIES is addressing around overconsumption of goods and resource waste 🔷 Our aims to create #sustainable sharing systems that reduce our environmental impacts and build communities 🔷 The visions of our partner cities and regions as they transform urban living through the sharing economy. 🎦 Watch our video to discover how the sharing economy can enable sustainable living, reduce waste, and build stronger communities! 🌟 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dTxWS8Z2 Featuring: Association of Municipalities of Tartu County, Malmö stad, Jyväskylän kaupunki - City of Jyväskylä, Municipality of Tilburg, CluBE-Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, Eutropian and Bax. #GoodCities #MindfulConsumption #ReduceReuseRecycle #SharingEconomy, #CircularEconomy, #CollaborativeEconomy, #SustainableLiving

🌆✨ We are proud to announce that we have just started teaching a course on Public Space at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Rome! ❓ What defines a public or private space? ❓What makes a community space? ❓ Who are these spaces designed for? In an increasingly polarised society, where space is often commodified, it is essential to engage students in exploring how public spaces can make our cities more inclusive. By mapping our environments through the lens of 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, we can better understand reality and work to improve it. At Eutropian, we bring our experience in research and action—covering topics like #temporaryuse, #markets, #heritage sites, #deliberativedemocracy, and #energycommunities—to inspire a new generation. Public space is our urban commons, a shared resource for all! 🏙️
